A great thing to do with your nursery is to add wainscoting, bead boarding or a chair rail on the walls. It adds a classic look, fit for a boy or a girl. Paint the trim work white and it will pop against a yellow, orange or green.

Gender Neutral Decorations

Decorate the nursery with wooden letters in different colors. These can be placed all around the top part of your walls. You can also add animal paintings such as giraffes, hippos, zebras and elephants. You can even do a Winnie The Pooh theme as this is very gender neutral.
For a more modern look, polka-dot art, line art or pattern work will look great in your nursery.
